  • POSTER TAGLINE & DESCRIPTION

'Doyle is bad news - but a good cop'; 'The time is just right for an out and out thriller like this'. Hackman is brilliant as hard-nosed cop Popeye Doyle, cocking a snook at his superiors in his obsessive pursuit of the elusive head of a narcotics ring. Famous and much imitated chase sequence and grainy hand-held camerawork add an original slant to the standard policier.
