POSTER TYPE

27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]
POSTER CONDITION & GRADING
Very Good, linen backed. This poster was in good to very good condition prior to linen backing. Minor border tears and minor restoration to fold lines, and the yellow title area and Linda Darnell's face in the central image, otherwise, the poster did not require much restoration. The poster was expertly backed and now looks fantastic!
DIRECTOR
PREMINGER, Otto
POSTER TAGLINE & DESCRIPTION
The creator of "Laura" does it again! Entertainment that all but explodes with dramatic tension! "Based on the novel by Marty Holland"; "Song 'SLOWLY' by David Raksin & Kermit Goell". From the opening credits and a shot from behind the wheel as a bus pulls into a roadside diner at night, Otto Preminger's superb, seedy film noir thriller is almost as good as his classic Laura (1944) and is arguably also the equal of the later Whirlpool (1949), Where the Sidewalk Ends (1949) and Angel Face (1952). Preminger's fastidious attention to detail and silky camera movements match the standout performances from a strong cast. This magnificent 20th Century Fox lithograph is one of the great film noir posters of the era.
