Very Good, linen backed. This poster was in good to very good condition prior to linen backing. Other than cleaning and mounting on linen no other restoration was required. You can still see the original foldlines and the poster looks great and displays very well.

Fred Zinnemann's only film noir and also a rare MGM foray into the genre, this excellent thriller is one of the best 'damaged serviceman returns home from the war to a changed world' film noirs - see also Henry Hathaway's The Dark Corner (1946) and John Cromwell's Dead Reckoning (1947), for example. The A-list cast give the film real class.
