Our friend, Marcia, author of Trekking Sri Lanka: More Than a Travel Guide, has been exploring Sri Lanka since 2013, supporting community projects that empower women affected by gender-based violence and children impacted by poverty.
Having trekked over 1,000 km from Galle in the South to Point Pedro in the North, Marcia has raised £30,000 while uncovering breathtaking landscapes, hidden trails, and untold local stories. Her journey shines a light on grassroots initiatives whilst also showcasing the power of responsible travel.
