The artwork on this poster is different to the US posters, which makes it very collectible. The customer was delighted as it’s a surprise present for their friend so hopefully it’ll be adorning someone‘s wall pretty soon😊.

We are very happy to be able to display this fantastic and extremely rare original 1935 French “ Affiche” movie poster for Howard Hawks’s aviation drama Ceiling Zero. Due to paper shortages before and after WWII very few movie posters from this period have survived intact. We worked on linen-backing and restoring the poster, and then our friends at Frames of Twickenham did an incredible job to give the poster the framing showcase it so richly deserves! The beautiful artwork is by Joseph Koutachy.

Rare, original 1982 UK quad poster for Wim Wenders’s flawed but underrated film Hammett. I remember seeing this very poster way back when I caught the movie at a one-off screening at a local cinema (sadly long gone). I think I was the only one in the cinema! But I really enjoyed the film and after 35 years have finally tracked down this original poster. It deserves to be seen!

The incredible artwork on this poster is by Guy Peellaert, perhaps better known for the iconic art for the poster for Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver (1976).

We’re big Studio Ghiibli fans and especially the films of the great Hayao Miyazaki. So it was inevitable and essential that we track down an original 1988 Japanese B2 poster for My Neighbour Totoro. It’s a great image because it’s just before (in our humble opinion) the best scene in the film - the arrival of the wonderful Cat Bus!
So it’s framed and on display in our Twickenham gallery/shop now..
