Original 1974 German A1/One-sheet, artwork by the great Richard Amsel. We’ve just finished linen-backing and restoration work on this fantastic poster. Different but equally brilliant art than the better known US One-sheet poster (art on that one by Jim Pearsall). These are the kinds of projects we love doing! The poster was in only average condition when we acquired it. It now looks great. Soon to be framed and on display at our shop in Twickenham.

We’re very happy to have recently acquired this fantastic original 1956 Belgian poster for Alexander MacKendrick’s Ealing comedy masterpiece The Ladykillers. Linen-backed (not by us on this occasion) and difficult to find, it features similar but different artwork to the British posters but interestingly places Alec Guinness at the centre of the poster. As the gang’s wily mastermind that seems appropriate!

A Jaques Tati classic from 1957 - Mon Oncle. This beautiful original French Affiche/Medium was already linen-backed when we acquired it at auction. A simple black frame with a mount was all we needed to do. A poster we’ve searched long and hard for and we’re so happy to finally find one😊. The brilliant design/artwork is by Pierre Etaix.
