Window, The (1949)
POSTER TYPE
One-Sheet
27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]
POSTER CONDITION & GRADING
Very Good, linen backed. Prior to linen backing the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed. The poster had a penny-sized area of paper loss at the bottom cross-fold and tears and small areas of paper loss in the bottom 1/4 of the vertical fold line. Other than the above defects and minor fold and border wear, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to linen-backing. It was very well backed and looks fantastic!
DIRECTOR
TETZLAFF, Ted
POSTER TAGLINE & DESCRIPTION
"Through the window he saw it...but no one would believe him...no one except the killers!" Cinematographer Ted Tetzlaff's directorial debut is a low budget RKO film noir gem, from a story by Cornell Woolrich. The beautifully rendered artwork on this original one-sheet is typical of the RKO Radio Pictures in-house style of the period.
