Prior to linen backing and restoration the poster was in Good condition, with pinholes, some border wear, with slight paper loss at middle and top fold intersections in the centre of Brando's head. There were the original folds but the poster had been carefully stored flat. The poster was linen backed and restored by Flicks Film Posters in June 2021, with the flaws described attended to, with minimal restoration, and the poster now displays well.
