English Half-Sheet, linen backed. Prior to linen backing and restoration the poster was in Good to Very Good condition and unfolded. There were some stains from the previous tape in the top left border area, some smudges, and stains in white border area and minor tears. Small censor and studio stamp at the bottom right. The poster was cleaned, and linen backed, with minor restoration to the flaws described, by Flicks Film Posters, in April 2021. You can still see signs of the original flaws but the poster now looks vibrant and bright and displays well.

Cry of the City, the classic 1948 Robert Siodmak crime film noir starring Victor Mature, Richard Conte, Debra Paget, Fred Clark, Shelley Winters (one of her early "bad girl" parts which she was typecast in, until her breakout performance in "A Place in the Sun"!). This is a very rare English half sheet, with completely different art of star Victor mature and images from the film in the lower area of the poster not seen on any other posters for this title.
