POSTER TAGLINE & DESCRIPTION
Poster Artist: Mattelson. 'What if the date you thought would never end, didn't?"; "When it's after midnight in New York City, you don't have to look for love, laughter and trouble. They'll all find you." After a difficult period following the filming of the excellent but demanding King of Comedy in 1983, Martin Scorsese found a way, as he stated, to "recharge his batteries" by directing this terrific 1980s 'yuppies in peril' comedy thriller. It all takes place over one long night in New York and is beautifully directed and performed by an ace cast (Rosanna Arquette, Cheech and Chong, Verna Bloom, Teri Garr, and John Heard). This one-sheet with great artwork by Mattelson shows the stressed computer programmer hero (Griffin Dunne) and the race against the clock motif.
