8 1/2 (1963)

    13 3/4" x 18 3/4" (35x48cm)

Very Good, linen backed. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The trimming of the blank top very slightly affected the studio credit at top left. Otherwise, the poster was unfolded and in nice condition. The poster was very nicely backed and displays well.

    FELLINI, Federico

The classic 1963 Federico Fellini (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Italian/French melodrama ("This film talks about you... About your life... About your family... About your work... About your doubts... About your dreams... You will see yourself in the leading role as though you were looking in a mirror... This is your film - Federico Fellini"). Fellini's masterpiece is perhaps the most influential of all his films, an inspiration to generations of future filmmakers. From the brilliant opening sequence to the casting of Marcello Mastroianni as the thinly disguised autobiographical film director having a crisis of personal and professional confidence at a film festival peopled by hangers-on and grotesques, the invention and visually arresting imagery never flags.
