  • POSTER CONDITION & GRADING

Very Good, linen-backed and restored by Flicks Film Posters in 2023. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in Very Good condition. It had been folded twice originally but had been carefully stored flat for a long time. The poster was well backed and it now displays well but you can still see  signs of the restoration in the photographic image and title lettering top right, although this is not very noticeable.

  • POSTER TAGLINE & DESCRIPTION

A young woman discovers her visiting uncle may not be the man he seems to be. One of Hitchcock's own personal favourites and undoubtedly one of his most perfectly realised thrillers. Set in the sleepy Californian town of Santa Rosa, Hitchcock joked that Shadow of a Doubt "murder back into the home where it belongs", as it tells the dark and unsettling tale of serial killer of rich widows 'Uncle Charlie' holing up incognito with his sister whilst his namesake niece slowly realises that her beloved uncle is very far from the image she's remembered from her childhood and increasingly suspects him of the monstrous crimes we the audience know he's committed.
