Deville's stylish French film noir was a big UK arthouse hit on release in 1985 but has since undeservedly disappeared off the radar. A young music teacher hired by a wealthy older man is quickly seduced by the man's sexy, younger wife but the emergence of a hired killer looking to blackmail the couple is not at all what it seems and the stage is set for a gripping noir thriller with plenty of surprising twists and turns.
