Belle de Jour (1968)
27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]
POSTER CONDITION & GRADING
Good to Very Good, linen backed. Prior to linen backing, there was a small strip from the top cross fold down into Catherine Deneuve's hair that was missing paper and this area of the poster is fragile. You can still see signs of this in our photo. However, after a simple linen backing and restoration this defect is barely noticebale and the poster displays well.
POSTER TAGLINE & DESCRIPTION
"Luis Bunuel's masterpiece of erotica!". A frigid young middle-class housewife decides to spend her midweek afternoons as a prostitute. Bunuel's icily brilliant adaptation of Joseph Kessel's novel catapulted Catherine Deneuve to international stardom. Her stunning portrayal of bored suburban housewife Severine Serizy is one of her finest and most controversial roles.
